Default wj dd build

well after many cherokees i ended up buying a grand to cart my daughter around in. i never modded any of my previous jeeps due to not having a big boy job yet, so i figured i will have this wj for a while so i should make it how i want it.

here she is before everything

bought some new headlights

then came the lift

then came the rubicon take offs

then came the beer

then came the work

then we were done

then i painted the grill and added some shackle mounts

and thats where im at right now. having some noises come from the front end i gotta track down at the moment.

future plans are new gears, tire carrier and front bumper trans cooler, roof rack blah blah blah

well i went upnorth for the weekend to meet up with a few buddies. tried out the 4x4 with the lift for the first real time. It is a pretty fun jeep now. i got stuck in a swamp on my buddies property though lol

the day before i went up

i got that mopar grille guard for free from a buddy. its kinda lame as it only had one mounting bolt to the frame mount i think im gonna ditch it. the roof rack bars i bought are awesome though.

Do you have any up close pics of the front shackle mounts? I'd like to see how you attached them.

I have the exact same WJ... 4.0L ??? How does it travel at highway speeds with the Rubicon take-offs. Is it really under-powered? My wife might love me if I did that to hers...
