Default 2 tracks and fishing recomendations

Looking to head in the northern or western direction either Saturday of Sunday with the wife to do a little fishing and relaxing. What I would like to do is go some where (lake or River) that is accessible by 2 track or that is very close to some 2 tracks. This will be a long day trip so looking to stay south of Cadillac.

Spent a lot of time over the years around Mio/Grayling, just looking for something new.

Thanks

I just picked up the "Michigan Atlas & Gazetteer by Delorme Mapping Company" from the book store. It has a lot of back roads and trails listed with rivers and lakes.

Just got my own too. Been using a friends older version.
Lots of rivers and lakes south of Cadillac. Rivers, Muskegon, Pine Pere Marquette, Manistee+. I have Rose Lake access, but Center Lake is suppose to be good fishing. Sunrise Lake, Diamond Lake all are close to Rose Lake camp ground.
Too many to mention. Many 2 tracks and forest service roads. Maps are at the US Forest Service, I got mine inCadillac. Maybe DNR too.(call)?
Michigan is great.
