2000 Jeep Cherokee
I am thinking of getting rid of my Cherokee. This is what it is:
2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport
4.0 I-6 (Replaced this past Febuary with one from a 2001 Cherokee, have paperwork that shows the vin from the vehicle it came from and corresponding numbers on the block. The new motor had 90,000 miles on it when I put it in the jeep. Since then I have ran nothing but Mobil 1 synthetic through it every 3,000 miles, I have the oil filter info for that as well!)

I bought this Cherokee off craigslist about 2 years ago or so with no motor in it. I bought one from a local scrap yard with no warranty, paperwork or anything on it and got bitten on it, it had a cracked block and had catastrophic failure. Recently I put the one listed which came with a 3 month warranty on it, and some documentation of where it came from. This Cherokee has a lot of miles on it, almost 350,000 on the body and what not, besides the motor.The body is pretty clean rust wise, there is nothing even remotely close to rotted on the jeep, floorboards still have paint, rockers, etc where a lot of them are rusted away. The trans still shifts great and everything else works good.
2 years ago when I built it I pretty much went through and put all new balljoints, tie rod ends, etc. on it. In the past two years all front and rear brakes have been re-done, new starter, pretty much everything new on the motor (water pump, power steering pump, alternator, etc)
The things that should be fixed is the radiator has a very small leak in it some where. Since Feburuary I have had to add about 12oz of antifreeze to it, but I do drive it every day at least 70 miles. The drivers side door does not lock, the power lock on that side locks all doors minus that one and the passenger side one unlocks them all. Periodically the gauges all shut down and NO BUS appears accross the odometer then magically they all come back on.
This is by no means in perfect shape. It is a 12 year old jeep. There are small dings all over it, and scratches in some places. On the passenger side there is a dent through the rocker that the previous owner did some how, on the passenger side door, and a small one on the passenger side of the tailgate. Rust wise it is in great shape though.
I am asking 3,000 or open to trades for a open top jeep, or a 4x4 truck. Not interested in anything foreign or any car.
