I'm selling this bike if anybody's interested. There is an ad in the vehicles for sale forum.

Would love my bike out of the shop. It's only been 3 fucking months. Does anyone have a 250cc-650cc Street legal dual sport for sale?

My V65 Sabre the day I brought it home. Carrie didn't enjoy 300+ mile trips on the Monster.

In a way I miss my KLR. Today would have been a great day for my old bike, 172 miles of dirt and pavement mix.

Your after ride condition was the one of two reasons I sold mine. 1) Sand sucks 2) ground clearance wasn't enough for single tracking easily.

I'm assuming you're talking about the original 1000?

Good bike, decent handling, decent power. Lots of heat towards the rider though. They are reliable. Real good bike considering it was designed in the early 80s and was made more or less unchanged minus minor front brake upgrade and fork upgrade for 20 years before they discontinued it. They can be had cheap too.

I really enjoy the KLR, it has its limitations, but I can ride down the highway for a while, see a side road and jump on it, then run down a two track and head home. Many adventure bikes can do that, but not many for $3K

Besides I'm too old, feble and blind to ride single track anymore. Two tracks is the toughest I can handle.
