Great Event Ron!!! You and the rangers do nice work. I invited 2 guys from Chrysler that have never been to the park before and they were both VERY impressed with the park. They were even talking about building a comp Jeep/buggy to enter next year just for fun and were shooting from the hip about what a great place to have a camp Jeep weekend or something. I don't know if anything will come of it but I got my fingers crossed.

Thanks Paul for wearing the Mcdonald magnets on your door

By the time I was at the pits, the engine oil was so hot it caught my breather on fire
We rigged the fan back into place, hard wired the switch into bypass mode and went back on to the course
Flopped it on it's side into a mud hole.
Called it a day... or so we thought.

On the way to the car wash area, my left rear coilover falled (shaft pulled out of the bottom heim housing).
didn't know that was you, you were tearing it up, sounded great too. hope to watch you at next years event. or even better having my rig running in the pack with you!!

Ron, thanks for everything. As always, you and the rangers put on one hell of a show, and thanks for getting W.E.R.O.C. into michigan. We will be in next years event, we're hooked. My family really enjoyed themselves and Julie finally got us some swag for us.

congrats to the winners and losers. good job rocks@valleys and volunteers. seemed pretty organized.

where were all the hardcore 1% guys at? cant stray from the home turf of twisted trails for a race i guess. hopefully werock comes back next year or ron puts on his own. add more rock sections though for the truck classes.

i like the 1 hr race setting alot. 3-4 hours is just way to long for guys doing it as a hobby. it will destroy the rig for sure. look at what happened to the trail rigs on one lap. LOL
Yep, 1 hour is plenty of time to race and to beat on your rig. Mine only lasted 1 mile into the course not including the qualifying lap. After getting mine apart, found that it had been compromised before and and ready to break, just needed a little push and the control arm bracket on the frame snapped. Pretty sure it happened before we even made it into the Python.

You're welcome Dan. Sorry I didn't get to put some laps in. Unforeseen occurrence. Crack in the frame bracket was hidden behind the skid plate on the frame rail.

Ron and Jeff and the park rangers did an excellent job setting up the park for the race. Looking forward to next year.

Dirt Riot Endurance Racing

thats what is fun about it, learning how to drive your rig fast enough to win but also make it last.
