Default js440/650 conversion?

i just bought a 1991 js440 stand up jet ski. and i was wondering if any of you on here have tryed to put a 650 motor in one. i know that a 550 will pretty much bolt into the ski but how about a 650 motor. what would i need to change to make it fit and run.
thanks jake

a 550 will just bolt in...the 550 and 440 share the same lower half

The 750's are basically the same as the 650's, and lots of people have done the 750 swap. Search the 'Ski sites for build threads.
