Default Foam strip boat bumpers?

So I'm starting to get my little flat bottom ready to fish and explore this year. My question is this: I have a friend who has an old aluminum canoe with these 4-5 inch half round foam bumpers along both sides. The foam is kind of like those swimming pool foam noodle toys. Is there such a product I can buy and install along the sides of my rowboat. I tried a couple google searches and couldn't exactly find what I had in mind.

k i tried again. They are called 'sponsons' apparently and are for adding stability to a canoe. Kind of expensive to buy a kit, mebbe Ill try foam factory on hall rd to see if they have any suitable foam stock.

the ones were nasty on our canoe, bought pool noodles and cut them down the middle then attached with small bold and fender washers. they work perfect
