Yeah I don’t plan on just bombing thru the woods pissing off hunters, I know of some fun county road that I can get stuck on and there’s always Bull gap but its super small and gets boring quick… So where are some good places to go up near Oscoda? I here St. Helens has an ORV area, but haven’t been out there yet? What about the grayling area? Any ideas or suggestions?

82 miles of ORV trail in Montmorency County. Plus a zillion 2 tracks to go get really, really lost on (i drove for 2 hours once lost on 2 tracks and never crossed the same trail) Lots of hills and swamps. I'll be up there around the start of deer season. Maps are available at the Atlanta News paper and DNR in town.
Hope to see ya there!

dont bother wheeling in atlanta. Unless there is some place that I have never been too its not that great. If your lucky you will run into a 10' section of mud. there are the power line trails but I am not sure if those are legal or not so i like to stay off of them. decent mud pit at the end of one that can be accessed by a orv route so that part may be legal.

I like the 2 tracks, not the mud pits. If you want to trail ride its the place to go. Probably not enough obsticals or much of a challenge for the really advanced but if you want to travel the back country 2 tracks, get stuck once in a while and have fun, I've yet to see its equal.

If you take the ORV trail from the trail head north of Atlanta on M-33 about a mile in there if a good mud hole and past that there is a powewr line trail that is pretty fun.
