machining h2 rims

I am making a deal on some h2 rims. Ive heard that they will not fit 1tons hubs.s it better to machine the rims or the hubs. The main reason Im thinking to machine the hubs is for quick wheel replacement in case of trail damage. What thinks you'all

The old set I had I just took a burr bit on a dremel and opened the hole up on the rim a pinch. The set i have now the previous owner had machined. You don't need to take much off them to make them fit. I would machine all your rims and you shouldn't have to worry about it. Then your spare will fit.

If you decide to do it yourself make sure to use lots of wd40 on your bit. It helps to keep the bit from getting clogged with aluminum.
