I was wondering how bad ass your rig has to be to make it over all 5 tubes. I cleared the first 3 with my XJ and my spotter said thats it. I got out and looked at the gap between tubes 3 and 4..... WOW. I want to see someone do it sometime. Really nice place to wheel. I was there easter weekend and wanted to thank the people who put it together.

Timmy has made it. I would say it took about an hour. The motor was pushing so much hot air back at us he had to shut it down and we got out to cool down.

I'd like to see the guy who came and moved those boulders and put them back. When I was there two weeks ago the boulders were there.

I don't drive anything special. I just know it's been done more than once. And the pictures are here from it being done.

It's all about the spotter. If you're a tard and your spotter is a tard, you're going to have a hard time making it up.

0 PSI in the tires also helps a lot.

I can't comment on specific tube numbers but there were boulders put between a couple near the top from day one. I went down the tubes when the DNR and contractors were there and they decided to put boulders in after watching me almost flop. They got scared and said they better add some filler due to liability.

There are some pics floating somewhere.

This pic was taken 10/28/10. Boulders already being installed between tubes.

On another note, there were comments about thanking those responsible. First on the list is Pat Kinne, (creativefab) of GLFWDA and Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association (glfwda)

Major players were Paul Hittie of glfwda and Paige Perry of the DNR. Without Paige's support and Pat's efforts, this would never have turned out so good.

So you're saying the guy who owns St. Helen Powersports isn't solely responsible for those rocks?

I bet this will be a disappointment!
