Default 271 ford t case,will a dodge 271 23 spline input fit?

after more research i found the ford 271 t case out of the superduty is one of the strongest cases made.(they are actually rated better then a 205) they come stock with a 24 29 and 31 input shaft.dodge started putting the 271 in the 03 and newer 1 tons.they have a 23 spline input but a slip yoke.ford has a fixed yoke on both the front and back.(you can put the ford fixed yoke output onto the dodge case but i would have to buy 2 cases then) have called a few places and i am 80% sure i can get the 23 spline input from the dodge 271 and put in the ford 271.anybody have any facts on this?
called advanced adapters and they said they have swithched all but the 23 spline input so they could not tell me 100% if it would work but they thought it will. i can get a ford 271 for 300 bucks and the input from the dodge for 50 bucks. anybody have any ideas on this?

From some Google searches looks like it, maybe even use a 231 input?

On a side note might be interested in the ford input if it would work in a 231....

i have a bunch of the 231 inputs on the floor, that would be nice..i do have a couple of the chevy big chain 231 and i even have the terra low case.so maybe i will just buy it and tear it apart and see what will work.
this is one of the charts i could find.i have googled everything and no real facts oin what will work.i know the ford fixed yoke bolts up to the dodge and i know advanced adapters told me the 271 is stronger then an atlas.

after doing some more research this is a badass case! they rate it at almost 18000 for torque. the sled pulling guys say they blow the shit out of there 241 and put this case in and have no more worries.34 spline outputs and you can run a 1480 joint. it is a big ass case though. i believe i just scored a demo to try, so i will tear it down and see what i can figure out.

Yes, the 271 is a badass case. It's biggest downfall is not being twinstickable. I have a Dodge input (29 spline) that I plan to put into a Ford case for the Cummins wheeler I am building. I know that will swap just fine. I don't know for sure about the 23 spline as I have only read online that it will and have never tested it. It's too bad all this blabbering is completely useless to you.

They are huge. Make sure it will fit your chassis.

i talked to a place yesterday that builds these and they said the 23 spline dodge input will swap into the ford case. yes that is my only concern is it is a big case.i have to do some measuring, these can be found real cheap so it might be worth changing a couple tubes.
i dont care about a twin stick so i hope it will work.found some other cases yesterday also for cheap so i have my t case decisions done.

Ford 271 with fixed yoke. If the price was cheap, I could use a Dodge 271 for a different truck also.
