Thanks. My K5 got a bit to expensive to run, so I'm switching to the 2 wheeled off/on road. All I ned now is to sell the truck and pick up a trailer.

Just picked this up last week...

2002 V Star with only 5,000 miles on it.
The PO gutted the exhaust, it actually sounds pretty good but it is way too loud for daily driving. So now I'm looking for a decent exhaust for it.

I installed a larger countershaft sprocket on my wee ninja today so that I am running less RPMs at cruising speed.

I suppose you could say that it will be a little slower "off the line", but I like to look at it as making my 1st gear more useable, like beyond the driveway and lowering my revs while at cruising speed.

P.S. I didn't get a 250 ninja because I cared about how fast I was going.

painted it like this in 2011

pulled it apart at the end of 2011 to add some screamin eagle high lift cams, bored .10 over with new pistons, chopped the cam cover and added some screamin eagle heads with perfect fit pushrods. oh and i got rid of the forward controls because the bike is to low and i would scrape every hard turn. oh and got rid of the ugly seat.

put it back together in 2012, going to make some new pipes but should be done by the end of the week .
When I close my eyes and think of the bike I want, the second picture is what I see. So sweet looking.

I bought a TTR125 for my wife and the first gear has a rhythmic clunk. I think there is a tooth broken off from 1st gear.

You talking about the V65 or the Street Fighter? I don't see a thing wrong with the V65!

Just ordered...

New tires
New clutch plates
New clutch springs
New grips
New oil and filter
New sprocket

Anyone know where I can buy an aftermarket cam shaft chain tightener for a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636?
