Default Trial for 9/11 terrorists is going to be a circus.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012...aring-to-wear/

This trial is going to be ridiculous. And the defense attorney needs to go to hell:

FTA:The defense attorney who wore a traditional Islamic outfit during the rowdy arraignment of the accused Sept. 11 terrorists is defending her courtroom appeal that other women in the room wear more "appropriate" clothing to the proceedings -- out of respect for her client's Muslim beliefs.

Cheryl Bormann, counsel for defendant Walid bin Attash, attended the arraignment Saturday dressed in a hijab, apparently because her client insisted on it. She further requested that the court order other women to follow that example so that the defendants do not have to avert their eyes "for fear of committing a sin under their faith."

At a press conference Sunday at Guantanamo Bay, Bormann said she dresses in a hijab at "all times" when she meets with her client "out of respect" for his beliefs. Asked why she requested other women do the same, Bormann said, "When you're on trial for your life, you need to be focused."

Bormann, who is not Muslim, claimed the issue came up several years ago, when a paralegal wore "very short skirts" and it became a distraction for the defendants. She said that on Saturday, "somebody" was also dressed "in a way that was not in keeping with my client's religious beliefs."

"If because of someone's religious beliefs, they can't focus when somebody in the courtroom is dressed in a particular way, I feel it is incumbent upon myself as a counsel to point that out and ask for some consideration from the prosecution," she said. "Suffice to say it was distracting to members of the accused."

The way I see it is: A- if an American was on trial in THEIR country for a traffic ticket, would they respect the American's religious beliefs?; B- who the hell goes to another country and expects everybody to change everything they do to please the foreigner; and C- they already admitted to plotting the 9/11 atrocities, so fukc 'em. Flying planes into buildings and murdering thousands of people is against OUR beliefs, and they not to respect our belief.

It is crazy they are being tried now. They should have already been executed.

<Stirring the pot a bit>

Justice wouldn't be just if they didn't get a trial.

I'm fine with that.

If anyone else is concerned about justice or morality I will gladly take one for the team and punch each and every one of their one way tickets to the land of virgins.

I thought we did not negotiate with terrorists therefore there should be no trial just another missing persons case.

I cant believe any American would even take the role of a defense attorney for this case. WTF!!! I know they have to appoint one if you cannot provide one. But the attorney can turn it down. And Im sure they would not be fround upon for doing that on this case. I personally would applaud them!

Also to expect any women in the court to respect those assholes is beyond belief, and I am generally respectful of people's beliefs. Those pathetic losers lost their right to respect and fair treatment by attacking innocent people.

I leave the hole punching up to the big guy, or at least I try too.

I just can't help but think about the clip with Ach-med the Dead Terrorist. "Nobody said they would be women".

I really do think it's pretty ridiculous to ask every women that comes into the court room to not dress normally for our culture. If you can't keep focus in a court room where they are judging weather you die or not because of a pretty girl, that's your problem.

This makes it sound like she works for the DoD and not just some public defender.

And I get the feeling shes trying to make a name for herself. I don't thin her antics are doing her client any favors.

If they have a problem with seeing how our women dress maybe they should wear blindfolds, or as it wa said in the article, avert their eyes.

First thing I thought when I heard this news was that the proceedings should held by a 100% female staff, including judge - and they should all be naked.

"defendants" to have eyelids removed and heads fixed to framework that prevents any movement.

Super bonus if we can get Janet Reno and her slipping nipple in there. Fuck these assholes. Though "We're supposed to hold ourselves to a higher standard than our enemies" - this would STILL be far less cruel than hacking someone's head off while filming it - just because they are an American. Fuck these assholes.

Wait, did I say that already?

Fuck these assholes.

Once they’re found guilty I have no problem throwing them into prison general population and them getting sodomized with a ham bone while bring forced to look at pictures of fat ugly naked women and listening to screaming satanic heavy metal.

But we’d be hypocrites if we don’t give them a fair trial first.
