Default Cheap ZJ build

97 ZJ 4.0 selec-trac transfercase.
Picked this up for my wife years ago, she drove it for a couple years then sold it to her brother. He drove it another year then had to replace a bunch of stuff on it, after that he bought a newer Liberty. He gave it back to me.
So i decided to build a cheap trail rig.
I heard if you use f150 front springs in the front of the Zj and put the ZJ fronts in the rear it gives you 3.5" of lift. I figured f150 springs would be to stiff, so i researched more and found that if you use early 90s Ford Thunderbird strut springs you get 4" to 4 1/2" of lift and has a softer ride. I picked some up from a buddies junk yard. I took the top spring retainer from the strut bored a hole through it to fit over the Zj bump stops, put the front ZJ springs in the rear measured everything and got 4 1/2" front and rear.

I got rid of the bumper covers, trimed the front and cut the fenders front and rear.
