I am running a 15" wheel but I only had like 4psi in it. This time I ran 10psi. I really need some headlocks.

Well Snofari killed my already injured AX-15 so its time for an AW4. At the same time I am going to be doing a belly up skid plate. Gonna be picking it up this weekend and will be updating this thread with the install.

Since my last post in this thread I haven't done a whole lot to the Jeep. I did install an Engo winch and removed my front fenders completely. I received some strange looks and comments about my pond liner inner fenders but it works for now. I think I am finally gonna buy a welder for myself and make some new fenders.

Engo Winch installed:

Thanks for the compliments.

I picked up the AW4 yesterday and now I am sourcing parts for the swap.

I am looking into shifters and would like some input.

These are the two shifters available:

http://www.rcpfabrication.com/4x4/shifters.htm
http://radesignsproducts.com/RockShifter.aspx
with Baja shifter
http://radesignsproducts.com/14Shiftcontrollers.aspx

The first one has the linkage to move the shifter back between the seats and seems to have a less sloppy looking shift.
The second one is nice since you can go straight from drive to reverse and back again.

By the way I am not running the TCU which is why I am looking at these.

Thank you in advance for your input.

You are running driver drop correct? If not the cooler lines are a pain since they drop right out where the driveshaft will be if passenger drop.

I was going to use the stock XJ shifter and rail shifter from radesign until I ran into the drop problem. Didn't quite have it figured out how I wanted to mount them though.

AW4 swap is done! Need to do the final details but I drove it to work today which was a great feeling.

Best part was I tucked it completely in the frame rails and didn't have to do any cutting of the floor. Now I just need to get my exhaust redone and make a skid plate. I was thinking 1/4" would that be overkill?
