Congrats! My son is going to be 2 in June and we have a girl due in August. While my wife was pregnant and during the first year of my son's life, I mangaed to vist the ER 3 times, . The most interesting was putting a knife through my hand and hitting an artery. Ending up staying the night in the hospital and having emergency surgery.
Oh, BTW I was opening up a baby toy

Sleep deprived with sharp objects in my already accident prone hands, are never a great idea

Wow steveo, an honest, mature post. Thanks
To OP, congrats. He's a good looking boy, too. My grandson turned 1 yesterday. Fun times! I'm glad the last year was a good experience for your family. Kids make life so much more fun and meaningful. Hard to see the birth of a baby and not leave thinking it's a miracle. Hope the next years go well, too.

thanks all. we were very lucky as first time parents. A couple that we know had their son a month before us and it seemed they were always at the hospital.

Denton... LMAO. that's some crazy stuff right there.

Nobody really can understand these words until they live them.

"you're going to blink, and they'll be 12 - blink again and they're off to college..."

I've lived the first blink - my oldest is already 12. Congrat's on the start to the best years of your life.

My oldest turned into a hellion at one. He was great prior to that. Hes 3 now and is just as bad. However my younger son is still great most days and he is a year and a half.

Good work, just teach him to offroad a real vehicle and not a faggy jeep.
