You are correct but I am just a blue collar guy who does all work himself with help of my brother from another mother. Just two regular dudes with a dream of going racing the legal way at the strip. And for two guys who work their asses off day in and out turning wrenchs to get by in the shit world it takes help. We got a sponsorship in away from are dads who have helped us out along the way. Hell I was so pumped when we just dropped 2000.00 into seats harness brackets and what not.

I dump money just some people wallets are bigger. I didn't build the 383 it was a christmas present from my dad. It was my uncle bobs motor out of his 69 maro pro street car built with the best I just got lucky and the amount of nos it was built to huff will take a viper from a dig.

So without knowing anything about me or who I am you just wanted to throw a little hate my way thats fine . Go buy your shit while I build mine the only real point of this truck is will be the tow rig for stang I am fine with my mall status

this is what people say when they cannot afford said car...believe me I understand they are expensive. The vipper is a cool car, however it is a parts bin car with a truck motor, albeit a very powerful truck motor, but the are hand built, rare and expensive, but not out of reach if you are good with your money

So it was a long weekend I pulled on my 383 and replaced it with a moderate built 355 have other plans for 383. Also swapped in a 8.25 rear instead on the dana 35 8.25 should be good enough for mall status light duty rig. Plated in a few different areas with some plate to beef up some certain areas that bothered me and took it for a spin. Ordered a RuffStuff truss for rear and a spartan locker for rear I bought rear end off a guy off here and plan on buying his non disco dana 30 and I am done with this thing till I complete other huge nightmare of a project.
