Sandblasting the welds on the inside of the fender so the paint will stick that much better.

This isn't a YJ where the shackle hanger is integrated into the frame. And it's tough with those Military Wrap springs. If anything, re-drill and move that center shackle spacer, it's not a big deal really.

I ran BDS YJ springs on my old "CJ". But then sprung it over. Never ran a sway bar or track bar and I would drive 70 mph routinely.

All done for now! with the new lift kit and yj spring conversion it really is a night and day difference on the ride....you can actually feel it bounce. before i was certain the shocks/springs were just for looks as they didnt do much else.

i agree about the sway bar..that will be coming off real soon to see how it feels.

many more plans...but a new car and a baby on the way will be putting the jeep into slow mo for a while.
