bolted tires, are those essentially studded tires? Never really seen such a thing. What tires did those start out as it's tough to see in the video

I'd be scared to run bolted tires, that kind of tire speed in the rocks with bolts in them just screams tearing the tire.

Guys that run ice races have run them for a long time, but they sharpen them too. I would think it would be a serious downgrade in traction on the rocks though.

You are going to want to beef up your upper link mounts on the axle end. Add some gussets or box them in. The uppers take 100% of the rotational stress of the axle.

I remember the first couple of ties seeing the locals running that setup down in Tellico. They were nuts.

I don't agree. He did not have a full force slam on the roof but rather a smooth roll where he followed the profile of the cage. I was expecting to be more of a free fall hit. It wasn't.

I am surprised the bolts hold up, I would figure they would bend.....never seen that before, that could really chew up a racoon.

I am surprised that they don't pull through the rubber. Definitely would be fun in the winter on icy hills.

Hurry up already and get that thing over to Joe's to get everything wired up......I hear Joe is offering 20 mins driving time for every case of beer you bring him....Butler and I are already in for 2 cases each so that scuff on the gas tank is the least of your worries....
