That is a circa 1997 prototype. At one time, that car, plus the Packard name and all related rights to it were for sale. A few years ago they had the whole package on ebay for $750,000 or best offer!

Missing my Grandpa right now

A few pics I have from his house back in the day.. there were few places in the world you'd see Packards like you would at his place...

I'm very familiar with that one as well. It was at the the Detroit Auto Show for a few days before lawyers from G.M. and Chrysler swooped down on it. G.M. stated H2 infringement and Chrysler the 7 slot (jeep) grille infringement. I can see both.

It was pulled mid show.
