$10.00 per hour, employer splits insurance, vacation after one year. Pay is negotiable... Just know it will not be a high paying job to start. But if you are a quick learner and prove yourself you can move up in the company.

I started out in 2004 doing this exact job. I moved to shipping and receiving, and then became the warehouse manager. After that I went into inside sales and even some outside sales. Then the big automotive slow down hit and everyone in the warehouse was laid off and I was moved back into the warehouse and did everything from pulling orders to shipping every box out.

Since then we have survived the slow times and have even grown. We hired a shipping guy and a order puller/delivery guy. And I moved back to the warehouse manager position and I also run 4 parts cribs at various customers (just like the one at Bloomule's work).

All in all it is not a bad place to work... You will learn a lot of new things and if you are mechanicly inclined it wi help you out a ton.

My son could do this job, but he'd have to get the chauffer's license. I thought that went away when the CDL was phased in, I haven't heard anyone requiring that since the 80's. Hell, I don't have one and I drive the company vehicles all over the country.

How does D F Burnham feel about visible tattoos?

The owner does not like visible tattoos... I'm sure he could overlook them depending on where they were. We would prefer no visible tattoos, no ear/lip/eye/nose rings.... so basically we are looking for a clean cut person but we will look at all applicants.

Yeah, that's gonna keep him out. I told him he was making himself unemployable when he started doing that shit.... turns 21 on 3/31 and no more money from mommy and daddy.
