Default got a driveshaft idea

took my truck to the local driveshaft shop and they want 300 dollars to make my truck stop breaking u joints... i asked what they are going to do and they said put a cv in it. why not take the cv off the front of one of my transfercases and use that do you think it would work. it is a chevy np205

Sounds like a plan as long as you are not going to a smaller size of U joint to run the transfer case CV.
