Subscribed. Can you add what direction your truck will be empty in? I will look for cars to buy where you are going if your truck will be empty from X to SE Mich. Thanks.

I'll do my best to. I usually am not "empty", although I will often have room in any direction with my new 3 car trailer. And if you want something hauled I can usually build a route around it, so let me know.

For now, I have room on way down to Florida for anything that will fit in the bed of my truck, and room for up to 3 cars on my way back. Going to pick up new (to me) trailer first week of April.

And towards end of April I am running to Texas and Nevada, and most likely California as well.

I would love to do what you do. Travel the country hauling cars for people. I'm sure after a while it gets old, but I love to drive so it would be a never ending experience!

The majority of the jobs I've had my adult life have required a large amount of traveling and driving. It's never gotten old to me. In fact, if I am home for more than a few weeks I get very stir crazy. My wife calls it my "Gypsy Blood".

I am very fortunate the events in my life allowed me to do this, and I love traveling. The only states I haven't seen are Idaho and the Dakotas. I plan to do so soon. I also (mostly for fun) have seen most of the Carribean, much of Mexico and Canada, as well as parts of Venezuela.

I would love to eventually build this business into a worldwide one that can ship specialty cars anywhere!

No, the previous owner set it up like an RV in the front with lots of heavy stuff (beds, fridge, etc.) Of which most is getting removed. Some of that is also a camera trick as it only sits about 2 inches lower than empty. Even so, I'm considering some extra leaves.

I actually came down to get one that was 8 feet longer, but ended up being a total POS. I found this one in Tampa and got a decent deal on it. I haven't measured it yet, but it's supposedly only 42 feet.
