My co-worker got a fix-it ticket for his tires sticking out 2in with out mud flaps, that cop was a dick though

I hope he fought it.

I went through this with GLFWDA a few years back. The MSP website has a spot where you can ask questions. I asked and had an ongoing dialog to the point where he was going to contact the Waterford PD on our behalf due to an issue. It never went any further. I have looked for the email but I don't have it anymore.

Bottom line, there are no fender or flare laws for NON-commercial vehicles.
