Default 78 International Scout II w/TOTAL GLASS BODY!

78 International Scout II with complete fiberglass body. Every part of this truck possible was redone with new fiberglass parts, so no more 'Typical Scout Rust'! The fiberglass parts only, without shipping and crating, come to well over $10,000- the tub alone costs within $500 of what I'm asking for the complete Scout ( http://www.superscoutspecialists.com...iberglass.aspx ). With all that said, it is a project, but a running and driving project. It has a 345 V-8 engine with a Holley 2300 two barrel carburetor, TF727 automatic transmission, and a single speed transfer case. Engine runs great, and the odometer shows around 79,000 miles which the previous owner told me was actual, and from how it runs I believe him. Engine is tight, no noises, holds great oil pressure. Has had a new poly gas tank also, so no rust issues there either. Tires are Bridgestone Dueler A/T's with 90% tread. Dana 44's front and rear, 3.54 ratio, no posi AFAIK I plowed with this Scout for the last two winters, was going to finish it off this summer for my wife but plans have changed. It does need minor mechanical attention (hoses are original, could probably use new plugs, wires, valve cover gaskets and fluids gone through) but major systems are in great shape. The body needs sanding, finishing, and color, interior right now is two seats and a console and a bare floor. I planned on spray in bedliner, you can do what you want. If the Terra pickup top doesn't appeal to you, I have a parts Scout here with a full length steel travel top that you can substitute if you want, that Scout also has a back seat if you want one. I'll throw in a two speed transfer case also in case you want to upgrade that. All in all this is a great deal on a Scout that you won't have to worry about rusting out from under you like they usually do. Not much room on the price since this is worth more than I'm asking. No vehicle trades, don't need a four wheeler or sled, might take a nice AK or SKS for part of the cost but other than that it's cash only. Asking $4750.
