Default thick plastic for skid.

anybody know where i can get a decent deal on the thick polycarban. or something else i can use for a skid.trying to keep the weight down on the new rig so dont wanna do the skid in steel unless i have to.would do aluminum also if it would work. what you guys think is the best for a light skid?

I got a quote from ALRO awhile back for some UHMW which was decently priced. I don't remember the exact amount but it was MUCH cheaper then a sheet of Aluminum.

We buy 4x8 sheets here at work. Not super thick though, I think somewhere around .250. They are fairly pricy, in the tune of $250 a sheet. If you have a idea of what thickness and what size piece you need i can get a qoute from our supplier for you. Get at me by p.m. if you want.

I always see Soltis in White Lake come up for good prices, maybe check with them and see about having someone drag it across the state for you.
