ran a new ground wire from the battery to the block. trimmed and painted the right fender. looks more dignified.

thanks! i need a left front fender though. i also decided to go with some FOA 16" coil overs instead of the jeep coils. then im going to put the rear springs up front with new shocks. got the back half design done in a few weeks i will begin part collecting and plating the frame.

With as rusty as that frame is, why not just chop it completly off and go with tube?

A rear 4 link is the next step on mine too. My 63" chevy springs suck.

cut the rear frame off.

...and after a shitload of grinding and sanding plus 20 minutes of hammering i got the crossmember squeezed into the frame.

welding rust poses quite s challenge.

I'm lazy and I'm bracing the shit out of it. The trail gear kit is beefy as hell, plus easy installation.

I meant at the back of the cab which appears to be what you did

I know the tg kit seems beefy, but keep an eye to joints...i have seen issues with them coming apart.

I wish they offered that kit with heims

I plan on useing ballistics axle truss/mount with ruffstuff frame mounts and heims.

Yours looks good. You keep the wheelbase the same?
