Sure you wanna take steering advice from the guys who spend more time bouncing sideways off rocks and ledges than they do on anything resembling a trail?

Edit: Nevermind, I forgot who I was talking to!

step down from the nut swinging for a minute,

all you need to do is figure out what cubic inch per revolution valve you want in comparison to the ram size and how many turns lock to lock you want.

i am getting a 7 1/2 stroke ram built from eagle machine.running a series 10 eaton..#200-0758-002,# 8 line in and #10 return.6 inch tall by 3 inch wide res from krc.redline synthetic race oil.the ram is smaller so it will turn quck and 2 turns lock to lock.

what diameter ram is it, i dont think i would go under 2 inch at all. heck i dont think i would go under 2.5 for myself as you start to loose noticeable power

i will know for sure what it is today.i believe it's a 2.5. i was also told to run the 7 1/2 stroke to be easier on parts.

8 inch will steer a stock chevy knuckl right to the bump stops(which i have seen them break due to people reefing on them), if you ever plan on getting good shafts machined to turn more a ram swap is pretty easy

i just talked to him and it will be a 2 inch.he said they have done the 2.5 but they are not fast enough. the only 2.5 he runs is double ended rams.

A 2.5 can be faster its all dependent on the pump and valve
