Default Find me an enclosed gooseneck trailer - $100 finders fee

I am in serious need for an enclosed gooseneck trailer quickly and willing to offer a $100 finders fee.

MUST - have 35 or more feet of floorspace, not including gooseneck area.

MUST - have 7,000 lb (8 lug) or greater axles with brakes at every wheel. No trailer house axles.

I prefer one with 7 foot or more inside height, but will consider down to 6 foot 6 inches. Not looking for a junker, minor repairs O.K. May consider 5th wheel design for right price.

Here's how it works. Must be priced $7000 or under. No auctions, unless buy it now. Craigslist links fine. If two or more people inform me of same trailer, first to do so gets the money, after a successful purchase. I am willing to travel nationwide for it.

Post here or PM/Call me

I think I saw one just south of Jackson on 127. I'm heading out that way and will stop and check it out.

Not enough info on this add to cover all your requirements (i would imagine it falls short on the 35' of floor space), but maybe worth a call.

I appreciate the help everyone. I have very specific needs for this trailer, so I can't veer from my requirements. If I cannot find a used trailer under 7k within my parameters I'll end up buying new. Thanks much!

May I ask why? Just out of curiosity why you need it so quickly and with such requirements. Did you get a new toy?

This has been coming for awhile. However, one of my frequent customers needs me to haul a large portion of his classic car collection across the U.S. over the next year. To make it worth it I'll need to haul at least 3 cars at a time. He primarily collects Italian sports cars that are around 11 feet long each.

Check your length laws for the states you will be crossing. You may be illegal in some states with that long of a trailer behind your truck. The total length law varies from 55' to 70' depending on the state.

dont you just have to be legal in the state your licensed.

example. if i drive my truck from michigan to california then if i had to be legal there i would have to get a smog test???????????

That may be for individual use, I'm not sure. However I hold a CDL, and max length for trailer only in all 50 states is 53 feet with a CDL (longer by special permit)
