Default Trail Gear #17 KOH Crash video

Heard about this around the time it happened but words just don't put it into prospective of how hard they hit. Best of luck to both Matt and Nick in recovery.

Looks freaking painful but shouldn't a mice tight harness save the condrivers ankles?

even strapped in your legs still move...most of these buggies are built very tight as space is at a premium

a lot of buggies have "kick bars" for the co-pilot to put their feet and push their bodies back into the seat for normal racing. Any sudden impact like that is going to load up your ankles.

LOL, the dude driving out of the ravine had to be wondering where the heck a random wheel came from.

That was a heavy impact. Were the HANS mandatory race equipment?

That and they said the buggy didn't really suffer any damage... they don't give like racecars.

A status update on their facebook, stated "Both credit the HANS device with saving their life and limiting their injuries."

that ravine was deep and you really couldn't see it unless you were right on top of it...I know because I took a dump in that very same spot right before the race...I'm starting to wonder is they hit it??? I wonder if my shit caused the whole thing?
