Default 1999 XJ w/4.6L stroker****SOLD*****

Hi All,

I need to sell my '99 Cherokee. It has a 4.6L stoker, but it needs a new cam and lifters. Newer AW4 trans from Pavement Pounder. Suspension updated last spring, Rough Country long arm, new shocks, ACOS, new brakes(frt&rear). Newer D30 in the front with WJ outers & brakes. New hub bearings. Over the axle steering with chevy 1-ton TRE's. New 3 core radiator with dual electric fans, one computer controlled & one manual. Chrysler 8.25 rr axle. JCR frt winch bumper with Cibie lights. It also has newer bitch tires on steel wheels and 32 X 11.50 tires on aluminum gambler wheels. 2" wheel spacers and SS brake flex lines. Body is in decent shape a little surface rust. The hood has the chrysler turbo vents. It also has a custom roof spare mount and is snorkled. There's more and some spares, but I'm tired of typing.

$1500.00 Firm

If interested, call 810-531-6452, if I don't answer just leave a message.

I'm getting out of wheeling and can't aford to drive this 90 miles to work on a daily basis.

Steve

I have personally seen this XJ and wheeled with Steve from time to time. This XJ has been well taken care of and not wheeled hard at all. It's a steal at $1500 in my opinion.

Thanks Mudviper. Pics will be posted tonight. Reason for reasonable price is I need to sell quick to finance new DD.

BTW, I want everybody to know that I know it needs a cam and lifters because the cylinder head is off. Just want to make sure you realize this. Also, I have a home made on-board air tank (CO2) for an extra $50 to go with it.

I would believe most of the people interested would be thinking of the stroker in their heeps, so couls we get some more info on how this stroker was built?

Motor was bored .030 over and had a 258cid crank and rods installed. New stock .030 pistons, moly rings, Valves and seats were ground. Rods were reconditioned and crank was ground .010 under and a HV oil pump was installed. Had a comp cams mild RV cam (p/n 58-232-4) installed with matching springs, hesco retainers and locks used. Reciprocating assembly was balanced. New Ford 24lb injectors installed. Stock balancer was used with a spacer machined for the bolt. Rebuild has about 75000 on it, when the cam/lifter failed. Motor held normal oil pressure 42 psi after cam failed. Cam was broken in properly, because I don't believe it would of lasted that long if it wasn't.

It's got about 5" of lift and no sye. I do have an extra frt drive shaft for when that would of been done that goes with it.
