Same here. All I have to do is update a few values and its good to go. By far the easiest way I have found to do my taxes so far.

In theory, if you are putting the same information into each of those programs, you should get exactly the same results. The tax laws are the same, the tax tables are the same, and your information is the same. What changes is how the different programs word the questions in the interview, and how you interpret the information you have to match up with their questions.

"Live" tax preparers suffer from the same problem - how we ask questions, how you interpret them, how thorough the list of questions we ask etc can make a big difference in how much you owe or how big your refund is.

Turbotax

I get the Business addition.

My wife owns a business and pays employees, The combination of Quicken for record keeping and Turbotax is the only way I go.

I have used TaxSlayer for the past couple years and have had the same results as using Turbotax, but don't have to pay the high fees that TurboTax charges. TaxSlayer can also save your information

Turbotax x1,000,000.

Although the fuckers didn't get me a refund this year. Must be because I'm part of the 1% this year.
