Blue Buffalo - Lamb & Brown Rice. Fed our black lab Iams Naturals before this and can't believe the difference it has made in her energy level and her coat. Yes it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for with dog food. I will never feed my dog the cheap shit again.

My Lab is on this... he was on the chicken and rice and all of sudden it wasn't agreeing with him (runny poo) I was told to try lamb or fish that most of the time it's the chicken that doesn't agree with them before switching brands. The Lamb and Rice have been good for him. His coat is awesome.

Pro Plan is what quite a few breeders I know feed their dogs (labs)... if I switched I think that's the what I would try.

My 14 year old GSP is an Iams dog... all his life! Iam's Lamb and Rice (now the healthy naturals version) I tried to switch him to the blue so it would be easier on me but it was too rich for him. His coat was super shinny but his tummy was constantly rumbling... and his farts were awful!

Be thankful for that. I wish I never had to either.

$50 for a 25lb bag that lasts our lab a month, maybe month and a half.

Then our schnauzer is on some dental food that is probably even more expensive per pound.

My dog also enjoys shitty diapers, so I think I will stick with the purina then.

x2 and this comes from people that sell alternatives in their office. I guess I'd tend to believe them instead of the guy that says, "This stuff is the best...and it just so happens that we sell it."

The vet said for our lab's food allergies blue buffalo is better than the prescription food he sells.
This is what we feed the schnauzer
