Slid the front axle under it today to start figuring things out. Notice that the front cross member is going to be in the way of the upper link/links. I have two options and looking for input. So which option should I do and keep in mind I really don't have a lot of money. On the other hand though my intentions are to attempt to have this done in the next couple months and try to make a couple of the local races around here. So option 1 would be better for that but not for my bank account.

Option 1: cut the front of the frame off at the firewall and building a front frame section and still link the front end.

Option 2: leave the front suspension how it was and run the leaf springs.

I was thinking about that after I came in from the garage. I'm gonna take a look at that the next time I'm out in the garage. I will also shoot you another PM about the tubing after I talk to them some more about it.

I hear ya...those springs have been around for a while and have been working great....for the both of us!! The only thing is the way I have it set up with the shackles being flat. I don't know how they will act at higher speeds. I could always change the way they are set up or the length of the springs.

Let me figure out what I need to do to make them work. If I don't end up using them I have another use for them but I might need the money to get this where I want it to be. I will let you know.

What wall thickness is it? Yeah I am definitely interested. I will try to get some pics tomorrow when I'm back out in the garage. You should donate the tubing and a set of those tires we where talking about and I will throw your name on it as a sponsor!!

That looks similar to what I had planned. Now I am thinking about cutting the frame off father back just before the rear spring hanger now. This also might completely change directions....lol
