it wasn't as bad as i thought i would be, something down the casted (spelling?) pieces is the hardest part, then i just used a drill motor with a polishing wheel, then finished it up by hand with some mothers.

Meh, I'll take it easy on you because you remind me of my douce bag woods racing little brother, but your time would have been better spent in the gym instead of making your bike look all pretty.

Do you automatically get a nice dirt bike if you sign up at you local gym?

The guy's just doing what he wants to do and showing off his work. You're not a Communist I hope because Comunists (and Socialist lazy fucks), can't stand when somebody has something nice.

I personally wouldn't put that much effort into a machine that I'm going to smear with dirt and mud but to each his own.

I will never understand the point of a polished frame on a dirt bike.

Trust me, I'm not jealous of his bike. (not that it isn't nice)

I have seen countless guys worry more about how they look instead of how fast they go. That polish job will look like crap in a week if he does not keep it up. Just an observation from years of racing... But what do I know, I'm just a communist.

IMO his time would be better spent in the gym getting in shape for the spring.

don't worry its plenty fast, high compression piston, titanium valves, upgraded cdi, cam, powerbomb header, fmf titanium 4. As for getting ready for spring i ride for fun, i don't really race. Keeping is polished and looking good is alot easier than the initial polish anyways. Sorry that i have a hobby you don;t approve of.

dude did you not get that I grew up racing?

How fast the bike is, is irrelevant if you're not up to the task...

When I was on a 250f I would routinely beat guys on 450's. ( a ton of guys do, I was nothing special). Bike does not matter.... its the striper, not the pole

like i said i ride for fun, i have got the bike up to 80. i have been riding since about the age 6 or so. For just being a recreational rider i think i do pretty well. I keep up with 450s in the trails, but that's in the trails i have only been on a track a hand full of times, so idk how that would go if i was actually racing.

I think it looks good, and the up keep really ain't hard to do, just keep a.coat of mothers on it and ur good to.go, my buddy did every inch of his crotch rocket, pegs, levers ect, and it looks awesome, after seeing him do it I did the same to my jeep rims and I liked the out come, I would do your swingarm too, make it shine!!!

Plus what else are you gonna do in the middle of winter...

As far as people don't getting why you did it, is like asking people why they put a custom paint job on a mud bogger, or drag car, or anything your gonna go beat the snot out of ...

Because you want it too look good, and take pride in your ride!! Some people don't have a taste for custom stuff while others do!!

Looks good, gunna look like pooh unless you re-polish after every wash though, i took the time when i did the frame off on my Banshee to sand and polish everything aluminum on it except the case and cylinders, admittedly i was lazy and didnt keep up on it so it looks like i didnt do it at all now.
