Yeah I could use a stub if you had one and Id rather run Spicers than the Superwinches so no need to find those. You still up for the trailer fitment on monday?

I found my problem, it was the steering stabilizer had slid on the tie rod and it was keeping me from turning left. Now that its fixed I can say phasing the joints is the way to go!

Thanks, and yep its full width. The tires stick out about 2 inches on each side, perfect for keeping the trees away from the body. If you run the stock rear axle and use 1 1/4" (or 1 1/2" cant remember) adapters/spacers the width matches perfectly front and rear.

Yup.

Should of done it when I built the truck but now its too late, I have too much wrapped up in the front to switch now. A 60 will happen at some point but not until after school and I have my own garage.

Yep all set for Monday. I got new (to me) tires on the trailer today. If you want the shafts and lockouts sooner I've got them all together and can get them to you this weekend.

I have to give a BIG thanks to BeaverTown!! Thanks for all the help and letting be borrow the car.

John and I were working on replacing the rear U joint, which had been welded in place because of damaged ears. That was supposed to be the last u joint for that drive shaft, but Autozone sold me the wrong one :pissed: After we ground out the old joint the drive shaft wouldn't hold the clip, so it has to be welded in place. Tomorrow Ill be driving back down to his place with my welder to finish the truck up. Then its on to the rest of the to-do list before Snofari.

Yeah its way to long like by 20". Ill have to make a parts run soon, to grab those springs and some tcase parts from Robb.

I have lots of updates and carnage pics from Snofari once everything gets back to normal around here.

Ok its been awhile since Ive posted in here which I guess is a good thing. However some people know that my push button Tcase has been giving me some trouble. I lost 4 low at Snofari, got stuck in 4low at the mounds, and now I cant even get the truck into gear...

So with todays extremely nice weather I finally have enough motivation to swap and rebuild cases. The plan for today is to swap in my 231hd that I picked up for 75 bucks. Hopefully I can have the truck back together some time tonight or tomorrow so I can actually enjoy some of this nice weather!

I have give a big thanks to Snocross2xtremes for the ride back to his place from the Chili run, and all the help to get the truck back into 4hi which was good enough to get me home.

Pics to follow....

No its in yet I found out that I broke the snap ring that holds the main shaft in place for the second time. So I think its time for a sye. The problem with that is that requires a new drive shaft (which I needed). But I wont put a new drive shaft on with my S shaped springs so I don't kill it. So that's new springs too. Long story short is that I know where my tax money is going, but I'll have a more reliable rig from it so its not the end of the world. Its also going to make attending the blessing a bit of a time crunch.

Well I needed some motivation to work on this thing so I cleaned her up yesterday and snapped this pic. Tonight the plan is to start swapping out my old leafs for my new custom ones from A B Spring.

Also the first pic next to my dad's new rig!

Last nights progress.

This is how bolts are supposed to come out right?

This was a little scary to find...

What the leafs are supposed to look like

Got the new springs on and while they seemed stiff in the bounce on the bumper test, they actually rode really smooth. Possibly the nicest lifted truck I've ever rode in!
And my drive line vibes are now gone to the pinion angle be back to where it should be.

Military wrap on both ends

The bottom half leaf is actually a "traction aid", basically a stiffer leaf to prevent axle wrap. Which was the death of the stockers.

Head down ass up stance right now. Hopefully it will settle out, if not I'll adjust the front up to match.
