Love my Auto, best thing I did was moving from the NV4500 to the auto... Although my next rig I want to build will have a stick because I miss having a stick shift.

If it were a full framed jeep I would stay with a stick because your mainly crawling then, but with your driving style.... Auto would be my choice as well...

Just my 2 pennies
Oh really? I would never go back to a stick.

True, I meant a more stock 4.0 combo I guess... Slow speed application, but I know yours works good slow as well as wide open

More than anything, if I were building a full framed jeep with a 4.0 I would prefer a stick, but if I was building a full out buggy, or even a back halfed jeep with a v8 I would prefer a stick as well....

Personal preference in the end I guess.... Not taking away from anyone with either set up

guess i will decide the week we start bending tube. i prefer a stick anyday over a auto. they both have there plus and minus points.
have a line on a atlas. looks like a 2 speed 3.8 is what i will run.

i think you should still run the stick, that way you can still have a good excuse. then also you could name it "MY EXCUSE"
