Battery Desulfation

This was a pretty interesting how to and I thought I would share it here. Anyone ever try this before or have any experience with it?

I have a battery charger (it was bought at Sams club)
that desulfates, it takes 24hrs. I have saved a few batteries that would have been thrown out.

I used a solargizer for several years on a MV truck I had and it helped maked the batteries last. Works well for trucks not driven that much.

yea, my battery charger I use also has a built in desulfater. The problem is, its an automatic cycle. So it can go into desulfate mode when the charger detects that the battery won't take a charge. I wouldn't mind a desulfator like the one he sells but $50 is steep.

Desulfating batteries is hit and miss. Usually you gain a small amount of time on a battery that should be replaced.
