Thumbs up 2-post lift, symmetric arms, 9000 lbs min,**FOUND**

Decided it's time for one.

Budget is $1,300-$1,600.

Should be enough for a low end new one, or a used lift of a more name brand.

Must be a minimum of 9,000 lbs capacity.

Must have overhead equalizer thingy (I have 16' ceilings). Also I'm going to be rolling stuff between the posts and don't want to deal with a floor plate.

Arms must be the symmetrical type. I may need to back a vehicle in on occasion.

So far the local dealers (I've found) have only had the more name brand hoists, while nice, it's just not affordable right now. I'm not running a shop either. If anyone knows of a dealer in SE Michigan (or Flint area in particular), lemme know and I'll give them a call.

Or,

If any of you are looking to sell one, or know someone selling one, send me a PM.

I have a 18' trailer and can pick up. Shed has 220 available. Floor is 4" thick, unknown psi, built in the 60's, floor has no cracks down the middle slab (which is 13' wide and 60' long) so I can hopefully assume it's higher grade stuff, might even be thicker than the side slabs.

Give this guy a call, he can get you and install either new or used lifts at really good prices. I've only ever talked to him so no idea on work quality.

Don't quote me on it, but if I remember right he said you can have a used rotary installed for 1200-1500

Gave him a call. Had lifts for sale around that price, not after installation. Still an awesome guy to talk to. I'm on a list (supposedly) and they'll give me a call if/when they get a lower end symmetric in.

Unfortunately he didn't have anything symmetric much under $4,000. That's just out of the question. They had several asymmetric lifts in my price range.

But since I have no idea when that'll happen, anyone have other retailers in SE michigan? or in the lower half of the mitten?

to the top again.

I haven't heard anything from this guy, maybe he didn't take me that seriously based on my willingness to spend money (even though he did have 2 lifts that were in my price range, but were asymmetric)

Symmetric lifts seem to be damn hard to find.

I'll keep an eye on those. Thanks!

Jeez... those didn't last long. I'm on another "list" though IF anymore come up, we'll see if he actually calls me. Thanks for the link!

I'm starting to think I should tell them it's for a business (even if it's just for friends/family/neighbors).

Finally got one. $1850, so a bit more than I was hoping to spend and it's an asymmetric, but I couldn't pass it up. Got it from Scooter's link.

Damn these ones are in nice shape!
