Ok, if you say so.
Waggy leafs and XJ leafs. Standard shocks. Added good bump but for the most part, nothing super fancy. No coils or ORI or air shocks. Just bought a bunch of plate and welded it on. Less dents that way. didn't even do heims on the steering. Just 1 ton steering stuff with TRE's. Self tapped the box for a ram I got off ebay for the assist. Spools in the diffs.

Compared to a bunch of rigs on here and pirate....it's pretty simple.

Just kidding on the "simple" bit. If it takes over a year to build, it's not simple. Actually, it's challenging.
This thing is pretty cool and I can't wait to see you and it on the trails again
The fact that this is a shop class build is awesome

I've followed the build on pirate. Looks good. Just to much steep stuff for me. But looks solid.

LOL....like I would use herc. i used it once on a bumper and hated it. Haven't seen a rig yet that it held up on. For a cheap, durable, good hiding paint job, Durabak is the way to go. I have used it on many rigs.

Kids take a big ownership in it. I already have about a dozen in the drawing to take it to prom. One of the kids wants to get his senior pictures with it. He has done a lot of work on it.

231 J with the Chevy chain upgrade and a JB super short SYE.

Original plans were to do a used atlas....then the budget got adjusted and was going to go with a twin stick 300....then had to use all the jeep money for a new trans in the truck. So it got the tcase that it came with...just got the chevy chain. Glad I didn't sell it when I was selling all the parts off that thing.

Gotcha. I had thought you mentioned a D300 earlier in the pirate thread. Got mine all the way in driveshaft mounted then realized the cooler lines point directly at it on a pass drop D300. I'd pretty much have to use stock cooler lines and they would still be less then 1/2" from the driveshaft with the tcase flat.

I had to re-do the cooler lines to clear the exhaust on mine. Screwed fittings into the trans and then put 90*'s on that to get them forward some and then jumped over the exhaust to the frame.

Even with 90* fittings they would hit the driveshaft just sitting there.
