I will make you this wager. If Michigan had hills like that, Michigan would have rigs like this and we would all enjoy watching them.

The closest we have to that is Impossible Hill at OSTC and look at the amount of spectators that were there both top and bottom.

most of the chassies ou see are from jimmy smith or colewerx.
the hot blond is one of the tanners.the whole family has badass rigs.there 15 year old son is the next tim cameron.
most of the rigs run 14 bolts with rcv shafts. cameron just built 14 bolts with rockwell outers and 2 inch oversion shafts.( he broke 7 rcv shafts in 2 months.)
i love this shit and we will be down there this year running with these guys.

jim this action is coming to canada real soon.we have a uphill double picked out that will be attempted.

these are the new hot setup.there camerons new axles.

i'll be honest in that i think all those are is guys with too much money and not near enough brains or skill. comp buggys to me especially when used in the manner that these guys use them for are pointless. most of them would be better suited to the icelandic hill climbs.

now these guys to me are impressive. these buggys are simple yet powerful and climbing a few hundred feet up these hills takes some serious driver skill to keep from rolling it.

First off, we don't have vulcanic mountains available to us like that.

Second, your opinion means less than shit. Some think that drag racing is dumb. Some think building up a boat you can only use a few months a year is dumb. Some think piling scrap in your yard is dumb.

It's none of your business how one spends THEIR money, if they want to use it to do something THEY enjoy it's of no concern of yours. Some wheel, some hunt, some collect stamps, some spend it on drugs. To each their own. And I think you're the last one who should be commenting on the "brains" of others.

Southern wheelin' can be cool, but for the most part it's a lot of waiting around for 5 minutes of coolness.
