Seems to. I had him put a Trans Go shift kit in and it shifts pretty hard. Im gonna back out the allen head a little now that it is broke in to get a slightly firmer shift. Just need to do a service some time.

My 2009 Duramax 3500 HD get's 38 mpg .....NOT.... I love the constant 19 mpg....drops down to 17 mpg pulling my camper....

Its a simple choice in my opinion which is not worth much... I've worked at a diesel shop on all 3 diesels i own an 06 CTD and love it. the auto trans sucks Period! its easier to find a early Dmax at a good price than a common rail dodge. the Allison is great in stock form with up to 90hp over stock. if you want the solid axle dodge buy a stick or plan on rebuilding the auto at some point. Common-rail injector go bad on both. your going to buy 6 @ $300 with the cummins or 8 @ $300 for the D-max in my experience. both good trucks in stock form the d-max will get the mpg and reliability u want. so good luck lol FYI EFI live works on 06 and up cummins!
