Right here on good Ole GL4X4!
We are all web wheelers, no one here actually owns or knows how to operate a 4WD vehicle.

I'm too damn old to be cool, but...
Pretty much you have to go at least to M20 west of 37 as a starting pt. The Natty Forest trail maps are avail at the Baldwin ranger station.
DNR trailwise, like everywhere you're supposed to stay on Routes(50"+), leaving the TinCup and all the whooped out connectors from Lincoln hills east to 37.

In the NFS land you may not encounter another wheeler all day, and on the state stuff
expect to encounter swarms of quads and bikes at speed with the accompanying whoops.

Report is the NFS 2 tracks in the M120/37/55 "triangle" have all been "improved" with blades/gravel taking them out of consideration, at least for me.

We've been pretty much flying under the radar to keep the Smokies off our path if
anyone gets together at all anymore. Right?

Pretty much looks like most are going to the pvt parks now.

I'd have to say to guarantee seeing groups, Silver Lake is the place

i've been told there are a few trails in the lowell area, but not sure where they are at. we always go into the manistee national forest in newaygo white cloud area and head north.
