I have a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu forsale. The title says it all it is cheap, really reliable, gets great gas mileage, and it runs and drives good. It has several new parts and needs very little. This car was owned by my brother and his girlfriend for several years. It was her car and was driven daily back forth to Battle Creek (60 miles) for a number of years. I bought the car from them last winter and used it as a winter beater and commuter for work . The car runs great and starts every time. The interior is decent for the year. The body is in decent shape, some minor rust (bottom of doors from paint chipping here and there) and minor damage (dent & scrape on pass rear door) but overall not bad for a 98. There has been some body work done to take care of rust (on rear quarters) and was sprayed with sealer primer and hasnt been painted. Looks better than rust imo. Mainly it runs, it drives, and will surely get you where you need to go for many years to come if you take care of it!

Many new parts including the following:
Battery, Tires, Front Brakes, Shocks/Struts, Tune up (plugs/wires), water pump, fuel pump, intake gaskets, exhaust and more. Along with the transmission being replaced at 80k miles and the motor was rebuilt at 104k miles. The car does need a little work currently and I will be fixing it in the next few weeks and the price will go up. The car needs a new passenger rear spring - loaded strut ($80), passenger rear tire, and a new heat/ac control switch (junk yard $20). So less than $200. Can be driven as is (but needs spring/strut before daily driven)

All and all it is a great car needs some minor work. But for the money you cant beat a nice reliable car that gets great fuel economy! Has sat for a few months - intended on fixing it and driving it this winter but decided I didnt want to. So looking to sell. Would make for an excellent first car, spare car, winter beater, or daily driver!!! This does great in Michigans harsh winters!

Asking $1700 Cash as-is. Would like it gone soon - but I do NOT have to sell - so Please no tire kickers or low ballers.
Kelly Blue Book Value is:
Excellent $3,265
Good $2,965
Fair $2,640 - which I believe my car body wise is in fair condition - but runs like a top!

Serious inquires only please! Please no tire kickers or bullshitters. No I will not take $1000 for the car. No I will not take payments. Sorry seems like a lot of jokers out there looking for a hand-out. If you are serious with cash in hand give me a call.
