Default 7.3 powerstroke no start

This problem happened twice before. While cranking you can hear a sound from under the dash that sounds like a solenoid/dead battery type clicking. Sounds like it is coming from right above the gas pedal. The sound is not there if you pop the hood and stand outside the truck, it only seems to come from under the dash.

The first two times I turned the key back to off, and fired right up.

This morning it wouldn't start at all.

Any common issues as for some sort of solenoid or wiring that goes bad?

Weak battery? Though usually you would hear the clicking outside the truck with that?

glow plug relay? Its the relay near the fuel filter on the passenger side. Turn the truck to run and check the voltage on the two lugs, should be the same. I replaced mine last month as it would start at times and not start at times. I found that there was a huge voltage drop and the glow plugs were seeing from 8 - 10 volts.

Found a loose cable on the battery. Hoping that was the issue as the truck fired right up afterwards.
