Default Huron County (MI) Deputy Rescues Scared Deer In The Road By Picking Her Up

The expression "a deer in headlights" became a reality for one Michigan police officer this week.

A scared deer stood frozen in the middle of a busy Michigan highway for 30 minutes until a sheriff took matters into his own hands, reports KVUE.

The policeman lifted the animal to safety by moving it to the side of the road, and then waited until it calmed down and ran away into the woods, notes CNN.

The deer was thought to be in a state of shock from an earlier accident, explains 9 News.

This isn't the first time a doe has come head to head with humans. Last week, a deer crashed into a Taco Mac restaurant in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, losing an antler.

What the story doesn't tell you is that he went hunting on Tuesday.

That was very nice of him. However the real question is what the hell is a Taco Mac resturant? Some sort of Taco Bell, McDonalds lovechild? Can I order a Chicken McChimichanga?
