Default 02 monte carlo

Alright guys I'm in need of some serious help. I have an 02 monte carlo that has trouble starting. It starts most of the time and when it runs it runs well. My problem is thta every s often it won't start. It turns over but acts as if the fuel rail is shut off. I'm mechanical suited that I replaced the fuel pump, the plastic hardware the tublar sits in where the magnet passes through, the tublar, and reset the security lock. I was under the asumption that it was a security issue so at that point I took the car to an electrially capable car shop, where tey checked the bcm, pcm and bypassed the security lock by bypassing it. They all checked ok according to them so now I'm stumped. Could it be the icm? Any help would be appreciated, I'm stumped and sick of putting money into the car and nothve the problem fix

Could be a crank sensor. Sometimes they get dirty and don't see that the crank is turning. When this happens the injectors will not work. If you have access to a scan tool watch the crank sensor signal while cranking the engine. If it does not show a signal as soon as you start cranking the engine over you have a problem. Good luck
