in MD NOTHING is allowed to be altered, so i have to go back to factory suspension. a local shop in Elkton failed my dads half ton chevy plow truck because we had 1 ton leafs on the back and its * Not Factory Part* but it is.... just not for that truck... what if you buy a new leaf pack from autozone? its not a factory part.... i hate MD inspection, but you deal with the BS one time and one time only, so ill deal with it for a little. its all shit that prolly needed be tended to anyway lol

yup.... post 44 i put in ( ) that i was moving thats why like the clothes and cell phone and charger and tools im not really worried about, i was more focused on what parts you guys would think might fail on the way.... im leaving Muskegon around noon (right after i get out of work) so a good 6-8 hours of my trip will be after majority of part stores will be closed so i dont wanna be sitting on the side of the highway waiting for 8 am to get to a store and get parts....

Ahhh...just go for it. Do a little PM before you leave and call it good.

Honestly I don't see a u joint failing driving down the highway. Well, let me clarify that, do the u joints show any signs of wear right now? If they aren't worn the fukc out right now I highly doubt that they are going to go ka-put over the length of your drive.

nah they look fine, ive just heard that on lifted jeeps that they are very prone to going out, and like i said i just dont wanna be stranded waiting for a store to open... but yea plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, filters, fluids, extra belt and some spare fluids. just wasnt sure if jeeps have retarded issues, like with a camaro i would never leave the house without gear oil... ive had soooo many rear diff cover gaskets take a shit on me, so i always have a bottle of RTV and 80-90. plus fluids

Your not "good" with Michigan plates if you change your permanet residance, most states only give you 2-4 weeks to transfer. If you get found out fines are hefty.

uh, usually you want to be plated/insured in somewhere that is your permanent residence.

If your only there for 2 weeks sounds kind of dumb to have it registered in a state that you will have to go through a lengthy inspection process for.

Find a friend in another state that will let you use their address and send you your mail.

You have alot longer cause you are military. Most states actually let you keep your permanent residents as your DL.......

But you need to come over and pull my car or jeep around too see if it can can handle it
