Default Ironman Offroad's JK Unlimited build

This should be called "Terri's DD Build" but I digress.
We picked up a used "07 Unlimited with a few dents and dings for a good price after Terri's Expedition died of frame and rocker cancer. A few day at Carl's Body Shop in Hemlock got it looking spiffy again.

In stock trim.
Isn't it cute?

The first mod was a Warn 74300 Rock Crawler rear bumper.
Had to raise the spare tire but the bumper fit nice.

Next on the list was a Rampage Products 86618 Gate Support to hold the gate in the open position.

Move to the inside for a bit with a Daystar KJ72010 Dash Storage unit.
Keeps the shades, gps and phone in a handy place.

Took a MaxBilt JKC-1 console out of stock and installed it in an hour or so.
Added storage, security and an armrest that is about 1.5 inches taller and more comfortable. Includes a 12v power port and 3 accessory switches.

More to come!!!

Back to the outside with some new side bars/steps from N-Fab.

We wanted a real compact front bumper/winch mount.
Found just what we wanted from Rough Country in part #1059.
Filled it with a Rugged Ridge 8000# winch w/ synthetic line.

Yup - here are a couple.

This is company using the Dodge Van door holders. I think its a better setup but you have to use a hole saw to install this one.

The next round of upgrades involved the suspention.
3.5" Rock Krawler Mid Flex suspention system (RKJK35FS).
Added Bilstein 5100 series shocks to the package and the ride and handling are better than stock.
A set of 35" MT/R's on Fuel wheels round out the package.

Poser pic from the Northwood Auto Show.

I think it looks great but please don't show my wife. That's what she wants and I can't have her spending my Jeep money.

Same here! The JK's look about perfect on 35's. How'd you get the mtr's though? Or is it only the big ones you can't get?

Wow, I like it Dale. If you're looking for some good advertisement, I'll be happy to tow it behind the motorhome when we go out east on vacation.
