that thing is i don't know if i wanna do the eb swap, or swap in a ttb 35. i guess it would come down to what becomes available first/cheapest.

Mine is a stock 302, C4 w/ dana 20 tcase. 4 inch suspension and 3 inch body. Just stock axles with 4.10's but I'm going full width once I find a 9 inch. I already have a hp44 with 5.13's waiting. The tires are 34-10.5-15 LTB's.

Built this in the mid ninties, one of the first in this area with a V8 conversion. Then tossed in front and rear axles from a very rusty 77 Bronco, 4.56 gears, 31 spline axles, Detroit Locker, 35" Boggers, etc. Still driving it now.

Go look on Rough Rangers off Road (rrorc.com) just about everyone there has had a BII at some point.
One of the guys, Jason Paul, (used to be on here but moved to Indiana), has/had a swwet '90 Bii that he swapped a 4.0L into and it was a great rig. Got good milage and wheeled great.
I loved my '89 Eddie Bauer I had, used it for a dd for 2 years, loved it, then I upgraded to a 1st gen Exploder.
I would fin a '91-'95 exploder and pull the TTB D35/8.8 rr out of it and swap it over into a BII along with the 4.0L.

Good luck in your hunt for a decent BII in these parts.

Well, i decided that it all depends on what i come across first. if i get a screaming deal on an EB 44, i'll go straight axle, if i get a good deal on some exploder axles, that's the way i'll go, becuase it seems to be a toss up to me.

mine is a 87, I swapped a 35 and 8.8, manual transfer and front driveshaft from a 95 4.0 ext cab ranger.yanked the automatic and put the 4.0 flywheel, clutch, mini starter and transmission from a 93 ranger. Then took 6 inch skyjacker springs and cut two coils and put them up front, and used stock ranger ext cab springs with a three inch block in the back. On 31-10.50 all terrains it goes everywhere me and by two little boys wanna go. He wants to go too the badlands and as my avatar shows its time to retire the ranger, so spring time the bronco is getting the 8 in skyjacker kit, and the 37-13.50 boggers.
